California is home to a wealth of fossils, and one of the largest fossil-bearing units is right in our back yard!

In various locations across Santa Cruz and Capitola, we can find all kinds of fossils, from clams to shark teeth to whales. Come look for fossils in a relaxed environment while enjoying the sun, sea, and sand.
